The neighbourhood features large, well-treed lots typical of 1950s-1960s suburban development. Wide streets without sidewalks reflect the era's development standards. Meadowlands Drive serves as the neighbourhood's main arterial, connecting to the broader Fisher Glen area.
Together with neighbouring Crestview, Meadowlands is served by the Crestview-Meadowlands Community Association. The area joined Ottawa through the 2001 amalgamation.
Location & Boundaries
Meadowlands is bounded by Baseline Road to the north, Woodroffe Avenue to the west, the CN rail corridor to the south, and Merivale Road to the east. Meadowlands Drive runs through the neighbourhood, connecting to Fisher Heights and the broader Fisher Glen area.
