What OCN Is

Ottawa Construction Network (OCN) is a directory of Ottawa construction businesses. Homeowners use it to find the right trade, supplier or subtrade for their project. Businesses use it to be found by the people who need them.

Any construction business in Ottawa can list here, and a basic listing is free.

The OCN Trusted Partner Badge

Some listings carry the OCN Trusted Partner badge. It goes only to businesses we have worked with on real projects: plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, tile installers and other trades. It means we trust them with our own jobs and our own name.

The badge can't be bought. A paid upgrade gives a listing more visibility, but never the badge.

Who Runs OCN

OCN is run by Justyn Rook, an Ottawa contractor with more than 20 years in construction. It started as the list of trades he trusted on his own jobs, and grew into a directory for the whole city.

We know what makes a good trade because we work with them every week. When a business has the badge, it's because we have seen its work on a real project.

For Homeowners

Finding the right trade or supplier shouldn't feel like a gamble. With OCN you can:

  • Browse by category to find specialists for your kind of project
  • See each business's contact details, photos and service areas
  • Compare a few options and ask more than one for a quote
  • Look for the OCN Trusted Partner badge when you want a business we've worked with ourselves
